Starting to practice Yoga at age 45 is a challenge, but my prior experience with other physical exercises helped me to cope with the physical aspects of practices. I am lucky to have the chance of practicing with a lot of experienced and qualified yoga instructors and learning invaluable insights from each of them. When I first attended Monika’s workshops, I immediately felt the difference she made in class with her compassion with a nice touch of sense of humor that created a friendly and enjoyable environment. Her ability of controlling students with great care regardless of circumstances was admirable. Later, I attended her teachers’ training program “Aspects of Yoga” a 200-hour certificate program, which she generously extended outside the class hours. I believe that I learned the true meaning of yoga with her as she covered all aspects of yoga – physical, spiritual, mental – in a perfect balance, her approach to yoga inspired me to explore the ways toward integrity. Her knowledge of anatomy of asanas made her instructions perfectly understandable and variations of the postures easy, so that students could adjust to their own levels without harming themselves. Learning yoga from Monika is a privilege. I feel lucky for knowing and being friend with her. Thank you Monika
