SUPTA PADANGUSTHASANA II VARIATIONS
CORRECT HIP ALIGNMENT
In supta padangusthasana II dont turn your foot too much outwards, because consequently your upper thigh will turn too much. Over time your hip joint wont like this extreme outer rotation. Advice: keep your outer foot parallel to the floor. Move the sitting bone of your raised leg in direction of the inner heel of your foot lying on the floor. This is a very beneficial alignment for your hip joint.
