I recently attended the first part of the 350 hour teacher training course with emphasis on yoga therapy. This was held over two weeks at Kefalos in Kos, in a large villa where we stayed, practised and studied. Teaching was a mixture of practical work (therapeutic and also to advance our own practise), informal lectures and discussions. A large range of subjects were covered including anatomy, yoga to assist different health challenges, yoga for different stages of life and Ayurveda. Monika and the visiting teachers were very knowledgeable and attentive to the needs of the individuals. The whole experience was interesting, informative and enjoyable. I’m very much looking forward to the second part of the course.
